this pain and sorrow
resonating in my soul
all that sad and sorrow
my heart has come to know
if I live to see tomorrow
I hope that sad sorrow
doesn't continue
to magnify and sadly grow
what if joy and happiness
would come to ease
all this pain we've known
perhaps my heart
would find some goodness
that fleeting joy
happiness has sown
all that fragrant beauty 
we would like to know
virtually always see
if only all that fragrance

in love's costly forever's
