Shining stars, one thousand blazing light years, time now,
Thence my love, dance on, let blessed peace refrain,
White Buffalo Calf Woman, Messiah, rapt in psalm, come Holy Cow,
Accord sweet dove, repent, binding thee with thy sacred chain.

Lost dreams, ne'er be found, 'til sacred suns have set,
Scores of hearts broken, such harsh emotion, since John Lennon died,
Luminous stars, ten thousand light years, advancing yet,
Countless burning tears we've shed, since John Lennon died.

Endless harvest, whence fate's dominion sparks finial domain,
Precious souls proceed, take strident steps, forge bliss ahead,
Resolving heaven, where winged archangels solve this final pain,
Exact, retreat Hell's fiery gate, still heed, swallow poison, whate'er is fed.

Refrain, phrased love, generous harmony, mending broken hearts, lest stead,
What grand music lost, what profound word sets, since John Lennon died?
Did some great peace arise, deliverance, from John and Yoko's goodwill bed?
Such poetic verse, pearl genius, now forever gone, since John Lennon died.

Thrust Jacob's sharpened dagger deep, so vital sense vacates horrid spurn,
Trumpets blaring, ascending skyward, faith leaps, via such hallowed sound,
Rejoice! Divine muse, begin this Buddha journey, as perfumed incense burn,
Supreme revolution! Seeking proper process, revolving thoughts, profound.

Cosmic realms, helpless, like drowned victims floating nude, in a deep cold sea,
Gentle verse accompany rhythmic rhyme, imagine, music gone, since John Lennon died,
Ten years later, gypsies rocket 'round a fueled fire, entertaining raucous Alvin Lee,
Giving precious peace a chance, caressing hands, since John Lennon died.

One last kiss, my love, ere Ockham's razor cuts deep through flaccid veins,
Let love resist, let social morals desist, as morbid truth doth hide,
Truss honour to this sacred tree, toss vibrant sunset to the wind, all for worldly gains,
Save broken hearts, long lost dreams, all dead and buried, since John Lennon died.

Where Dreams Are Born

Slumber sweet love,
Where dreams are born,
Let true love linger,
Lest wounded hearts be torn.

Sojourn my love,
In waves of passion,
Where soul meets self,
In heavenly fashion.

With every heart beat,
Savour each ling’ring kiss,
Those precious moments,
Where two hearts find bliss.

One look, one soft touch,
Your gentle nature,
I fell in love,
With your gentle stature.

Rejoice my love,
Seek heaven’s dream,
Where Saints and Angels,
Sip honeyed cream.

Dew drop reflecting,
Cool rain falling,
Two hearts beating,
Sweet love is calling.

Night is coming!
Can you hear dwellers dwelling?
Can you hear wakeful awakening?
Do you see mediators meditating?
Do you see morning stars surrendering?
Storm is coming!
Can you hear drummers drumming?
Can you hear mummers mumming?
Do you see hummers humming?
Do you see jackboots marching?
War is coming!
Can you see buyers buying?
Can you see players playing?
Do you hear bombers bombing?
Do you hear war planes droning?
Death is coming!
Can you hear spinners spinning?
Can you hear heartbeats beating?
Do you see preachers preaching?
Do you see farmers planting?
Rapture is coming!
Can you hear desires desiring?
Can you hear droplets dripping?
Do you see conquerors conquering?
Do you see reality reeling?
Buddha is coming!
Can you see dyers dying?
Can you see floaters floating?
Do you hear dashers dashing?
Do you hear thunder crashing?
Heaven is coming!
Can you see raged raging?
Can you see tempters tempting?
Do you hear trumpets trumpeting?
Do you hear worthy praying?
Nirvana is coming!
Can you see sleepers sleeping?
Can you see visionaries envisioning?
Do you hear enlightenment enlightening?
Do you hear blissful breathing?
New Day is coming!
Can you hear potters potting?
Can you hear reapers reaping?
Do you see seers seeing?
Do you see God's Blessed birds singing?
Life is coming!

Snow paints the world white,
Revealing each and every lie,
Snow delivers death blows, an unforgiving fight,
So snow must die, yes snow must die.

Imprison snow in gulags, for all that honest truth,
Let snow be burned at the stake, bind snow in earthly chains,
Evil justice must prevail, no matter how uncouth,
Immure, impound, 'til none of snow's pure truth remains.

Snow must be found, let demons capture,
Engage that simple truth, dispatch to a Cubanesque realm,
Evil justice must prevail, destroy all rapture,
While evil reigns, demons still, at their earthly helm.

So snow must die,
Snow must be destroyed,
Snow cannot be allowed, revealing every lie,
Evil justice must be employed.

Forgive snow, never,
Close the door on snow,
No matter that snow is clever,
Honest truth cannot, allow the world to know.

Behold! That starry stripe,
Where freedom fails, false words lie,
Behold! Such evil worldly tripe,
So snow must die, snow must surely die.

Snow hidden in its earthly den,
Snow's truth ensnared, enslaved,
Snow denounced, rest only then,
For surely snow has misbehaved.

Violence! Product of the mind,
Short of love, void of kind,
Good compassion left behind,
Cherished adoration undermined.

What draft? What current task?
Look beneath each prevalent mask,
Seek truth, pray, fail not to ask,
Which leaf to eat? Bread and wine? Which oaken cask?

Essence! Beauty inhabits every soul,
Nature's seed is never droll,
Imagine lotus, blooming, soaring tall from sandy shoal,
Awake! Arise! Create ascending, most perfect goal.

Buddha, prostrate, deep meditation,
Seeking light, revering God's perfection,
Dharma, generously given through good selection,
Free of hate, disengaged from violent infection.

Cosmic star, enlightened spirit,
Quiet one's busy mind, can you hear it?
Forge brave ahead, don faith, never fear it,
Practice Nirvana, in time you'll near it.

Heaven's tears, cleanse, like cool rain,
All life suffers, this earthly plane,
Eightfold path, sacred seed, holy grain,
Right thought, right action, nourish life, riding this blessed train.

There hangs Guernica, covered and hid,
How many dying, wounded and dead?
So paints Picasso, shrouded fascists to rid,
How many lost, innocent names to be read?

Open thine eyes, great tribulation borne in this world,
Look to those Saints that rue man's evil and war,
Open thy mind, revealing lies, lying hidden and curled,
Look to brave artists who dare bare truth to its core.

Bullets and bombs are ne'er good for one's soul,
Brutal armies spawn death, spell destruction, where e'er they go,
Haughty Elite, Presidents and Kings, flagrant deceive us, we honestly know,
No matter the flag, no matter the anthem, no matter the goal.

Young militant men, ignorant pawns, taught to battle and fight,
Mislead by sneering Generals, delighting o'er spilled blood,
Soldiers tutored such dark arts, ne'er bathed in the light,
Thus homeward they march, spirits dashed by death's flood.

Lost souls, all dead and buried,
Enter Rothko, behold desperate black tombs,
Manage reckless, passing frantic days, so hurried,
Alpha to Omega, conceived then spent, in God's velvet womb.

War's beastly destruction, ne'er complimenting humankind with worldly good,
Create light with thine actions, replace horrid war's sinful plight,
Peaceful love is the Way, thus all mankind should,
Living life as God planned it, cleansing Life with pure Light.

Saying, Thank you, I love you,
Wondrous words bathed in Glory,
Meditate on thoughts far above you,
Healing words, that's the true story.

Where Dreams Are Born

Slumber sweet love,
In this place where dreams are born,
Where true love lingers,
And wounded hearts are torn.

Sojourn my love,
In waves of passion,
Where soul meets self,
In heavenly fashion.

With each heart beat,
Savour every kiss,
Every passing moment,
Where true hearts seek bliss.

One look, one touch,
Your gentle nature,
I fell in love,
With your gentle stature.

Rejoice my love,

Discover heaven’s dream,
Where Saints and Angels,
Sip honeyed cream.

Dew drop reflecting,
Cool rain falling,
Two hearts beating,
Sweet love is calling.

I wrote the following poem in June 2011. This is the first time it has been published.

DREAM

Dream pure water,
Dream liquid vision,
Dream Shiva as Vishnu caught her,
Dream Goddess Ganga's earthly mission.

Dream still water,
Dream rain falling straight from heaven,
Dream River Styx as you cross her,
Dream rivers rising 'til 2027.

Dream Sacred water,
Dream Blessed Holy Cows,
Dream chanting monks as they intone Buddhist charter,
Dream reverent nuns and priests with furrowed brows.

Dream deep cold sea,
Dream spiny fish and cephalopod,
Dream splendid blooming coral tree,
Dream sea snakes, sharks, deep diving schools of cod.

Dream inert deep space,
Dream asteroid and twin-tailed comet,
Dream Moon's green cheese face,
Dream galaxies and suns that flare, then calm it.

Dream expanding Universe,
Dream fabled Andromeda and Sirius,
Dream imploding poetic verse,
Dream tragic nebula and friend Arcturus.

Dream blind cosmic dreams,
Dream rolling ocean waves and tide,
Dream reams of static idle dreams,
Then dream fantastic solar systems, far and wide.

The following poem is a reprint from my Yahoo 360 blog, July 2009 (yahoo discontinued 360 in July 2010). I wrote this poem about one year after my divorce was finalized in July 2008.

WHAT MARRIAGE WROUGHT

That single word 'marriage'!
Well, in metaphor, it was like Cinderella's carriage,
I guess I was like that pumpkin
In simile, like a country bumpkin.
Oh, at first, I thought it would be best
But those first ten years they were a test.
I know, that seems so awfully long
So many verses for such a melancholic song.
I know, but she and I were tossed
She and I were both quite lost.
I know, I said I do
But standing there beside me, she said it too.
So years went by, I watched the moon
I know she thought I was a loon.
That old moon would climb the sky
She and I, we both would vie
We tried to meet this challenge
Before it died.
But time went on
She was mostly gone
Under that hot summer sun
When life should be fun.
Well the two of us,
We weren't one.
At midnight when the clock struck twelve
She would be there, and I would delve
To hold her hand,
Or kiss her cheek
Well she would look at me like I was a freak.
Okay, that spell of marriage
Like that Cinderella pumpkin carriage
Was so much less than wedlock should've been
But when love is absent, with nothing really in between
Where one and one doesn't equal two
And loving kisses were so few.
So marriage, yes it scares me
Like that hanging tree.
Over all those vacant years, and yet
When love didn't grow
In all that rain
And all that snow
Well in the end we both just let go.
So with fairy god-mother casting her spell
With all those rats in a row, unable to tell
That they weren't footmen and they weren't horses
That unruly magick with its unseen forces
Was just a glass slipper
But it didn't fit her
So when that clock struck one
She and I were finally done.
We both sighed relief
In years gone by there'd been much grief
But when we signed those final papers
Cut those chains and dispelled those marriage vapors
We both went our way
She and I had little left to say.
But that word marriage
Like that pumpkin carriage
Still makes me sweat
And I just don't get
And I just don't see
How that word marriage
Applied to me.

Jump blind into vast chasms,
Fall backwards from precipitous heights,
Pour boiling oil on your orgasms,
Rage naked during dark dangerous nights.

Bury yourself in treacherous innocence,
Crucify your soul when you wake,
Pierce your heart with shards from a splintered fence,
Drown your spirit in a burning lake.

Oh Man! What good hast thou made?
Oh Woman! Are your breasts precious jewels?
Dost thou thirst, reposed in perfect shade?
Hast thou forged love with earthly fuels?

Kind heartedness has not forgiven me,
Eager compassion has deserted us,
Every righteous choice has abandoned me,
Desolation has wantonly visited us.

I bleed profusely from these wounded mortal bounds,
We writhe as one under crushing abstruse pain,
I lament midnight hours listening to hells baying hounds,
We grieve filled with sorrow riding that tormented train.

Where is light when sudden darkness falls?
Has God forsaken this worldly plane?
When does heaven open wide and call?
Can the lamb truly lay safe curled in the lions mane?

Come hither to this sacred pool,
Drink deep from this blood filled chalice,
Ponder not this mortal fool,
Alas the stars fall filled with malice.

Pity every human heart beat,
Let mercy accompany each child's soul,
Render holy prayers complete,
For penitence is what makes us whole.

In turn each soul shall suffer plight,
Forever lost in eternal wonder,
March forth death, abstain from light,
For with our sin, love is rent asunder.

Will all broken clouds away,
Gaze deep into unknown wells,
Tend to rampant thoughts that stay,
Trek steadfast o'er distant ancient dells.

Recharge function striking internal bent,
Alter emotion posed as quick and dead,
Sail beyond Hades fire, past fuming lava vent,
Enter Seti, wielding shocking monster head.

Stay pure my friend in word and deed,
Stand firm as heartfelt faith invests,
Drink deep this abstruse mystery, feast not on viral greed,
For fair Osirus judges life as Ra's chaos rests.

Behold broad chasms beyond this carnal life,
Ride chariots of cosmic fire while pandemic hours circulate,
Abandon worldly ills, adieu every begotten strife,
Endure the reapers temporal call as death's demons ambulate.

Risk eternal life with earthly fame and glory,
Horde wealth and riches in secret vaults,
Test heaven's gate with pompous story,
Wresting unearned power with worldly faults.

Design is met as deserving karma wields,
Mystic potions from this dream filled chalice,
Angels poise with sword and mighty shield,
Lord knows that heaven sustains no hellish malice.

As sutra spake that holy word,
Come hither splendour in saintly fashion,
Deft Horus defeated Set in battle's armoured gird,
Sheol's ghastly paradise resolves this ghoulish passion.

Hear these words with fully opened ears,
Envision Erebus with bright unbiased eyes,
Hail this intimate dream, casting out all fears,
Let true heaven come when soul's earthly body dies.
