something magical
do you ever
have those dreams
that incredible place
dream world
taking us away
into some other
magical space
I have to wonder
just what was real
those recurring themes
unreal intimate scenes
like needing a toilet
and not finding one
maybe you do 
eventually find one
but it has no door
okay friends and folk
that is velveteen
what about space
some far off planet
some surreal sun
even flying through 
that extra special place
God help us
maybe we're at sea
everything in time
just endless waves
perhaps in time
some spectral tide
even rain
those suicidal dreams
even fire
or just about to fall
catch me
in your loving arms
see me cry
maybe as I die
in lonely dreams
it's just karma
all that relative stuff
far off in some galaxy
light years away
you'll wake up 
someday when earth
isn't where you stay
something magical
about it all
having those dreams
about that magical place
so deep sleep
sleep and dream
majesty may visit you
holiness could touch you
that sacred space
you'll marvel at
tears can take us there
fear can drive us there
something about all
those magnificent dreams
something extra special
about this human race
