So many venerable stolen shards,

Art by all those Nilotic craftsmen and Egyptian bards,

All that superior Jupiter and warrior Mars predicted,

A conflicted view of extravaganza,

Allotted on that ancient African savannah,

Relics kept as national treasure and personal prize,

Excluded now and securely steeped in exclusive museum jars,

Itemized remnants from all those lost continental cultures,

All that avaricious plunder and recklessness,

Born out of empire and negligent wealthiness,

Such a stolid flight by greedy vultures,

How should we truly and finally measure?

Such wretched egoistic selfishness,

Hording all that antiquated art and gold and snatched ancestral treasure.
