There is wild,
Then there is WILD,
WILD and FREE,
Like a herd of wild horses,
Running free,
Across a wild land,
Free like the wind,
Free like the sun,
Free like the planets and the moon,
Into that mystical realm,
Where dreams are made,
Into reality,
Into memory,
Into legend and myth,
Like a deep ocean,
With all its strange creatures,
Swimming free and easy,
Out of the shallows,
Into the depths,
Across the universe,
That God made,
For all things to be free,
For all things to exist,
As creation intended,
As dreams created,
Like molten lava,
Streaming down a wild volcano,
Into a wild and untamed sea.

Searching, two loving arms that once embraced me,
Your waning shadow, crossed my zigzag path today,
I wondered if it were you, but in that dim light I couldn't see,
Vision failed me, floating out in space, there were no words left to say.

Searching stars, for that cherished heart that once loved me,
I measured time, from side to side, across a far off galaxy,
A million suns set, while I waited, hoping you'd discover me,
I measured love, from edge to edge, hoping love wasn't just some fallacy.

Searching each nook, across the universe, I wondered if love might forgive,
This unfortunate heart, flying far away, past Neptune's shining ring,
These streaming tears of mine, no comfort felt, in this desperate place I live,
While love plays its familiar melody, that 'together' used to bring.

Searching each cranny, aboard this emotional rocket ship,
I called your name, with each dive and dip, I sought your love,
While distant harmonies zipped past my heart, on this glaring love trip,
I sang your name with each passing star, penetrated below, inquired above.

For a thousand years, I searched for you,
Over a hundred lifetimes, I explored the stars,
Seeking misplaced love, with each new view,
Eventually I journeyed back, past Jupiter and loveless Mars.

Born yet again, I donned another deep space suit,
Climbed aboard heaven's shuttle, blasting off with a cosmic boom,
Time conquered space, I forgot our song, became deaf and mute,
I lost my sight, shuffling round this unfamiliar galactic room.

Then time held out its minute second hand,
Found myself in orbit, though none too soon,
I found my voice, echoing o'er an alien land,
Finding erring love again, on the dark side of the moon.

Have you seen Grand Jupiter? Bright Venus?
Arm in arm, climbing down the sky,
Red Mars clad in warrior's armor, stalking brave Enos,
Riding rough on his chariot, as love's warriors sunward fly?

All I hear is you, our beating hearts,
Like tender kisses, forever bound by love,
Ragged heartstrings tied tight, 'round these errant parts,
Entwined in interstellar flight, touched by God's blessed dove.

Have you heard love's symphony? Penned brilliance, transcribed number nine,
With upward strokes, 'twas keyed in major E, orchestral magnificence, so truly fine,
Notes sung crystal clear, with flawless cadence, rhythm and pure rhyme,
Love's perfection for a discerning ear, played in perfect four four time.

All I dream is you, an endless spectre, my envisioned joy,
Such a doleful game we play, digging graves for love too soon,
Cunning love, raised its crafty head, above the tomb of artful ploy,
Singing you love's cryptic ballad, on the dark side of the mystic moon.

Remove this poison drip from my aching wrist,
Lift me from this sick stead,
Place me in some bluebird's nest, nature's newborn tryst,
Carry me from my death bed,
Counting down from ten, nine, eight, seven, six,
Fix angel wings on my withered back,
Six, and six, and six, across the river Styx,
Raise me from the dead,
As five makes its final mark, then four and three,
Take my hand, guide me along that spiritual track,
While sacred numbers ascend that spiritual tree,
Wipe beads of acrid sweat from off my fevered forehead,
So two, those angels that lift me up to thee,
Lead me to heaven's gate, where there is no lack of love,
One becomes, bestows that final gift, 'cross that cosmic sea,
Ope my cloudy eyes, let radiance light my way,
Adorn my soul with feathers, from that peaceful dove,
Instruct my psyche with gleaming words that golden seraphs say,
Grant me courage on this day, so life's mem'ries are never lost,
Sparkling, pure, the way is clear, illumined by God's shining ray,
Across that threshold, from earthly death to soul-filled life, a karmic cost,
No longer any pain, nay thirst, nor hunger, on this enlightened day,
Like Lazarus, I have risen, into that realm of heaven,
That promised land, where God exists, and all our sins forgiven.

Shove your knife deeper,
Make me bleed more,
Your blade rammed steeper,
Stab me to my very core,
With your love rejection,
Mixed with cruel intention,
Mirroring this mad love reflection,
Rousing such hateful invention,
Dressed by this insane inflection,
Strip and shred the mains'ils,
Forego the tortured helm,
Chop down the masts, torch the handrails,
Shear the anchor chain,
Conjure myth that lasts,
Scuttle all life boats in this stormy vein,
Twisting mind, like cyclones, in this deadly realm,
Standing deathly cold in pouring rain,
Love's tears burning, tracks down my sorry face,
How many times will love's heart burst?
Imploding with love's torrid case,
Still I turn my back on love, not first,
But last, and with this inflective cast,
I conceal love's feelings, deep in my worry chest,
I bury love's kisses, deep in my chastened breast.
Now that you're gone, I grieve for us,
How can I ever mend these broken strands?
Life lived apart, what did it achieve for us?
How can I render love from such coarse sand?
Constrained by oceans of the tempest kind,
Within the boundaries of my bleeding heart,
Restrained, detained by raging seas,
Within the context of these simple words, I find,
Forgiveness comes to mind, let live,
If you can forgive, let love,
If you might forgive,
All that hurt entwined, in our two hearts,
Where love once lived, entranced by us,
Enhanced by us, parting clouds o'er that tempest sea,
As the colour of the wind imparted all that love,
All that wondrous love, all that joyful love,
Between faraway you and bleeding me.

Don't believe in love anymore,
navigating this hurricane sea,
Sailing east into a rising sun,
this broken heart-badge tattooed on me,
Twenty thousand leagues,
on the ocean blue,
can't save a single feather or naked wing,
from the warm breast of that floundering white dove,
Scarcely a soaring albatross,
foreboding, forbidding any solitary quill,
as hot lightning bolts,
razing my Captain's charts,
stirring this pirate love.

Can't believe in peace anymore,
watching plunging pelicans,
far along the ocean reach,
Ruthless bills,
war declared on writhing grunion,
tempting fidelity,
live to love,
to spawn,
naturally enjoying another sexy foray,
on a busy beach,
Judge judiciously,
those swarthy birds of flight,
those hungry beasts of prey,
harshly casting deathly gloom,
Engaged in battle,
armoured for this timeless soiree,
enraging rattle,
no life preserver nor kevlar vest to don,
midst this never ending doom.

Ne'er believe in faith,
or trust again,
zealot's seek a brimming chalice,
full of worldly hope,
Lost in this cyclone's tempest,
assume a myriad of stars have fallen,
plummeting from a bewildered sky,
awestruck our planet spins,
failing to cope,
Lazy greed hath scourged,
taunting feral love,
crucifying heartfelt joy,
securely nailing vibrant faith to equatorial latitude,
Inflicting deep wounds and sores,
imposing festering scars,
devouring each left over morsel,
marking every indiscriminate soul,
void of compassion,
embezzling passion's buoyant gratitude,
every heart-string gambled, as love rambled.

Lamenting,
I think of you,
lost at sea,
rivers streaming o'er my tidal cheeks,
like incessant ocean waves,
Failed dreams,
dashed against some foreign rocky shore,
facetious love jokes,
cajoling, jests,
purloined from ecstatic raves,
raised from unmarked graves,
Shipwrecked on this Crusoe desert isle,
no man Friday in attendance,
barren of singing silky mermaids,
lest expression conjure mythical unicorn,
or lithe and naked Aphrodite,
Stand weeping,
counting scuttled stars,
love lies bleeding and forlorn,
desecrating yet another sacred beach,
dragged by a sweeping undertow,
o'er reckless jellyfish and ragged reef,
choking back this coal black night,
while desperate errant love,
wades unbelieving and alone,
in the shallow depths of morning light.

Mountain peak! Starry night!
Constellations! Aurora bright!
Yea! Nature's perfect compliment,
One great teacher, our parliament,
Nature entreats our every sense,
Slick salamander, sweet red rose scents,
Spring's mystic unfolding leaf! Butterfly magic chrysalis!
Nature's goodness! Marvel! Never amiss!
So artful! Yet she leaves us wond'ring,
As we breathe, such pondering,
Awesome nature! Her astounding might!
Man's earthly mistress, taking flight!

Free Your Imprisoned Mind

Over all those vibrant years,
Through commonplace spiral galaxies,
Spinning myriads of joy, with a deluge of tears,
I've explored, examined, deplored so many fallacies.

Expanding my fertile mind,
Consciousness, comes back to nature,
No matter where or how I look, I always find,
That ants and men, hold such similar stature.

Aspects of opulent, virulent light,
Disguised as right, yet tragically wrong,
Demonstrating war's might, that feral fight,
Dissected, inspected, whence divine has gone.

Free your imprisoned mind,
Break open the prison gates,
Tear down those dungeon walls, to find,
Joy and love, bathed in glorious rainbow states.

Descending into that dark abyss,
Barefoot I climbed a rambling jungle vine,
Travail to your death, a sacred time, seems so amiss,
Hark! Bird of Paradise reciting, a poem, that's yours and mine.

O'er time, as god's worshipped, this world turns,
Through space, stepping o'er that timeless window sill,
Like Peter Pan, I flew, searching for magic, every being so yearns,
Like Job, I stumbled, falling wounded, plagued by devils dressed to kill.

True power, empowers all that care,
Relieving the mind, of absent notes and dreams,
Assisting vision, clarify the comets tail, with thoughts that simply dare,
Beating drums, chanting sacred OM, soaring on galactic streams.

Existence, divine creation blessed, is not a given,
Lest life not be lost, enveloped by stars, beneath the Shaman's heaven,
Being, confronts defenseless nature, behaviorally driven,
Beyond the burning sun, beyond the crusty rise, of spiritual leaven.

Evolution transforms nature, releasing ordinary reality,
Four winds, adjunct four ceremonial corners, with rebirth,
Centred in thy Father's womb, blessed Mother's heartfelt vitality,
Molded by Creator, caressed by creation's sparkling mirth.

All our doubts, all our fears,
Our daily judgement, every moment's choice,
Momentous emotions, compare to omniscient tears,
Transcend virile thought, eclipse anthropomorphic voice.

Purge that demon essence, cleanse that shameful palette,
Thunder through life like White Buffalo, sacred enlightenment comes,
Perfection reveals itself, pounding pemmican with thy divine stone mallet,
Potent virility, ascending heaven's flight, praying in time with hallowed drums.

Seeking freedom and light, beyond the castle wall,
Speaking peace, chanting OM, until the angels come,
Assassinating self, annihilating ego's primeval call,
Commending each heartbeat, every breath, to its earthly sum.

Blind me with your light,
Still my beating heart,
Drown me with this earthly fight,
Bury me with this holy part.

While self seeks comfort and kind,
Forgiveness seeks castles in the air,
Shackled to fear, imprisoned by my mind,
Dancing round that circle, resolving every care.

Freeing my imprisoned mind,
While prayers, drift like sacred smoke,
Across vast universe, with the creator kind,
Clearing springs, receiving expression, being spoke.

Thus here grows the garden, where Eden promised life,
Against the tide, we flounder, adrift beyond the shore,
Against the wind, we falter, fettered by earthly strife,
Yet sacred seeds are planted, in time, God shall give us more.
