rise up
tear down
those paradoxical statues
fetch dictators
hang their cruelty in every square
resolve all geometric shapes
those busted statutes
with their broken napes
let oppressors beware
wretched blood
staining their vile brand
innocent life has been stifled
blind folded and killed
spilled blood
authoritative blemishes
bureaucratic eruptions
polished jack boots on the neck
colossal corruption
confusion in  many lands
mercury and lead
chemistry and  contusions
secret equations in their stead
alchemy dominating Caeser
artful constrictive ways
old gold has tainted the Emperor's crown
conscripted frowns stalk the wicked
drowning with terror
their proving ground
loud justice speaks in silent tongues
meek and mild mercy
proud justice is often sung
there stands that bleak ladder
arrested
in the courthouse cellar
bellering prisoners call

chained to the dungeon wall
the poor and the coloured
hanging on to the bottom rung
crass desperate hopes
disposition hanging there
while restricted butterflies
ballet as they flutter by
utter "I"
utterly stand peacefully
muttering justice raised on high
shout "We"
who else will bravely care
fearing steely tyranny
clearly daring tyrants
have closed their criminal eyes
mindfully reposed
dimwittedly
with closed despotic ears
refusing to witness or hear
those home grown despicable lies
should we dream
if what we dream
only makes us cry
should we dream
if what we dream
makes us cringe and want to hide
beyond bully guns and tear gas
seek out routed peace
reroute doubting existence
mercy on the outer fringe
beyond all those lazy barriers
across the razor wire
rare crazy civilization
dares to watch love die
