For all the reasons
America is great
America is greatly diminished
For all those reasons
America is a bitter racist place
Apparently it's high treason
To disagree with the rich
To test the powerful
Because the powerful own the police
That top 1% own the military might
Fascist boots on the ground
Frightfully ready for a brutal fight
A police state of affairs
Those who dare
To stand in the glaring light
Wanting justice throughout the night
From all those dark prisons
Where imprisoned people look around
And it's just us (them)
Behind the razor wire walls of blame
When it comes down to this crunch
This killing sphere
The good in a bunch of people
Is hard to find
It becomes very clear
They'll burn every cross
Hang lawful innocence
Alongside human victims
Adorning church steeples
When jack boots are on the ground
Things aren't meant to be kind
Beware the jack boot soldiers
Those armed grinders
Brutal minds where cruelty abounds
Every hateful slur
Causing a much bigger blur
When war becomes boss
What an oppressive tragic cost
So arises America's Tiananmen Square
Lessons learned from tyranny
Another matter of beware
Ask the civil question
How much can a civil society bear
Before civil war erupts there
How can you tolerate
This intentional fate
When the powers that be
Don't give a damn

Bring out the battering ram
Don't give a care
