we are all suspects now
aspects of this new age
respect must be earned somehow
all those suspect crowds enraged
engaging those elite forces
forcing their plutocratic hand
enraged elite seem remorseless
it seems
or so we're told
how daringly bold
those plutocrats
not liberals or democrats
a bunch of prideful autocrats
stacking the cards
leaving wrecks and glass shards
sheaves strewn in remorseful streets
one coarse kind
meeting of resourceful minds
 or some other collective kind
recollecting other gruesome grinds
reminding us
we're all human
although some
simply showmen
digging deep
knowing they will reap
the lion's share
because they madly care
their purloined fare
